Lynchburg parks & Recreation
The Lynchburg Parks & Recreation department contributes to a healthy, active, and educated community, providing stewardship and management of parklands, trails and civic facilities and creating opportunities for all people to participate in a rich variety of recreational activities. Their mission directly aligns with ours. Our partnership has been able to provide events that educate and serve our community. We cannot wait to see what else we can come up with together!
GREATER LYNCHBURG COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The mission of The Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in the communities served by the establishment of permanent endowments for the City of Lynchburg and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell, with income distributed annually to charitable organizations within the community.
The Community Foundation is organized and operated to accept gifts to be administered exclusively for charitable purposes primarily in and for the benefit of the City of Lynchburg, and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell.
